The way they drive here is a trip!

London
Well I arrived in London just fine and dandy. The flight went well and even the train ride to get to Lindsey. God I was happy to see her. It was like a small trip home. The first night I was there was Thursday and I got there late enough that we just chilled out and ate. It was a pretty good night. She shares an amazing apartment with like 5 other girls but it is niiiiice. The next day we rode the London Eye. It’s basically the biggest Farris wheel you can imagine but with gigantic pods instead f seated cages. It was pretty sweet and I got some awesome photos. Then we saw Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and HARRY POTTER. Apparently at their movie theaters you can buy alcohol and ice cream buckets. Not fare but I am loving London at this point.
Saturday we went on a Commercial walk called the Blood and Tears walk. We went all over London learning about what murder took place where and how long ago. It was awesome. AND Sweeney Todd was real. We saw where the pie shop was, where the barbershop was and learned all about the tunnels and such. My favorite part of the trip. Really.
I saw the Shakespeare’s globe theater, the tower bridge, the HMS Belfast, Kings Cross Station…. Lots of touristy stuff.
Here is the Meganwantedtostarttocry part of the story. I was supposed to take a train back to the airport. It was the easiest way since I don’t understand the tube system. Well wouldn’t you know if the trains weren’t running from my station so I had to catch 3 different trains to get to another station, get lost, buy another far too expensive ticket to catch an above ground train to another station and switch AGAIN to another train. I got to the airport just as there were closing my flights check-in. I am hating London at this point. I bought a Mcflurry to calm my self down. That worked.
Back to france thank god. The exchange rate doesn’t kill as many people here.

Megan

I am so sorry that you did not have a better rail experience in Britain. That aside, I'm thinking peppermint bonbon, a cosmopolitan, and sex and the city: the movie.

It's brilliant.
